Judging the MILO® Champions League 2013

MILO Champions League 2013

Last Saturday, I had SUCH FUN being a judge for the MILO Champions League 2013! Together with celebrity Suhaimi Yusof, TNP journalist Yeoh Wee Teck and Ultimate MILO fan, Pearlyn Tan, I got to taste the best milo from vendors island-wide!

From east to west we traveled in search of the best MILO. Seriously. We started the day at McDonalds’ Bedok Interchange (East), then headed to Kopitiam at Hougang Mall (North), before going over to Sin Heng Coffee Stall at Toa Payoh (Central) and finally, concluded our MILO-drinking adventure at S-11 at Taman Jurong (West)!

I even had a cup of iced MILO with my McDonald’s breakfast! So I basically tried 5 different cups of MILO in one day. 😀

It was pretty wonderful being around someone from The Noose’s cast. Suhaimi is as funny off-screen as he is on TV! And he is a giant – he towered over most people! 🙂

Ultimately, I think the vendors should strive to make their iced MILO as chocolate-y as possible, and reduce the sweetness level. Somehow, the MILO trucks (in schools) ALWAYS serve the best MILO. I don’t know why! And the people at NESTLE aren’t telling. 😀

By the way, the judges’ scores will only account for 50% of the total score to determine who is Singapore’s Ultimate MILO® Champion. You can cast your vote, and perhaps even walk away with S$2,000 cash and a S$50 MILO® Goodie Bag!
