Bobby’s Sinfully Tempting Ribs – A Well-kept Secret at Chijmes

If you are a fan of pork ribs, then do try the Signature Baby Back Pork Ribs at Bobby’s, located at Basement 1 of Chijmes. I never used to like pork ribs, but Bobby’s signature ribs have made me a fan!

Priced between $32.95 and $40.95, it’s great for savoring with friends. The meat is juicy and tender and threatens to fall off the bone.

I would recommend that for starters, you go with the Calamari ($15.95) which is made fresh and even comes with home-made tartar sauce.

The batter is light and the calamari looks and tastes like a healthier version of popcorn chicken. It is chewy and I love the ‘QQ’ texture! The best part is that you won’t see any oil dripping onto the plate and reminding you that you are on a diet. 😀

If you are a fan of Fish and Chips, theirs is also worth a try. Made from pure dory and with a flaky, flavored batter, it is a steal at just $10.95. Also, I love how fresh cabbage is used to make the coleslaw! 🙂

And definitely complete your meal with the Chocolate Volcano ($13.95) – you get a homemade chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream under chocolate mousse and whipped cream. Order one to share and watch your friends fight for the brownie at the base of the ‘volcano’. Hehe!

Visit the good people at Bobby’s – you can find them at Chijmes. Go there for a weekday lunch and you get to escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Looking out the windows, this is what you’ll see…
